Common Style Guides

This forum contains articles that describe the common reference styles that are available in ComWriter. There are a range of styles: (a) author-date in text, also called parenthetical (because the citation is contained in brackets in your text), (b) footnote references, also called note (because they record a notation, usually numbered, in the text) and can be placed at the bottom of the page as footnotes, or grouped as endnotes, and (c) reference entries, for use in bibliographies.
