Creating a cross-reference in academic writing

Cross-referencing is used in academic writing to direct the reader to something other than what they are reading; for example, to an image. Generally, this is done by inserting (see Figure 3). It is very easy to do this in ComWriter and you don't need to update it if your captions or image numbers change. This short video explains how to insert a cross-reference in the project editor using ComWriter
