Saving Urls

Every resource type can store the URL if the resource was added online. However, if you want to store URL links to create hotlinks in your project, use Resources Type = Internet material:

  • Web or wiki page
  • Blog, forum or social media post

 

To store URL links in research material:

1. Click on the research tab

2. 'View' is the default on the navigation pane for this page

3. Your default style guide will display here 

4. Click on the 'Add' button and a new page will open

5. Select the resource Type - Internet material and the Format for your resource

6. Enter the page title for the website or blog

7. Click on the Source to change it to 'Online' and enter the data; especially the Url

8. Save the resource

Tips

  1. Url links can be inserted into projects
  2. Website name is usually the title found on the Home page
  3. Website owner is generally associated with the copyright (on the footer)
